The legal limit for tyre tread depth in the United Kingdom is 1.6mm.
However, once your tyre tread depth is below 3mm you will lose up to 25% of your braking, so at Cory's Car Repairs we recommend that you replace your tyres once the tread depth is down to 3mm.
